Hedley Rakusin, DDS
Dr. Hedley Rakusin was born and raised in South Africa. He received his dental degree in 1973, and practiced general dentistry in England and South Africa for 10 years. During this period he earned a masters degree in dentistry. He completed his endodontic training at Baylor college of Dentistry in 1985, where he is currently a part-time clinical associate professor in the graduate endodontic program.
Dr. Rakusin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and has published and lectured extensively. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He is also active in organized dentistry, and was chairman of the 2008 Southwest Dental Conference. He is a Past-President of the Dallas County Dental Society.
Dr. Rakusin is married to Lynette, and they have 3 daughters. His interests include golf, tennis and reading. He is a techno-junkie and enjoys computers and electronic gadgets.
Dr. Rakusin is fluent in Spanish.
