Meet Dr. Antonio Berto

Dr. Antonio Berto grew up in Spain and completed his formal dental training in Madrid. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005 after working for Dr. Maria del Carmen Navarro, an Odonto-pediatric dentist, and Rafael Miñana, an Endodontist, at a private practice in Madrid Spain for Clinical Observation and Assistance. In 2006, Dr. Berto moved to the United States to continue his education at the Health Science Center of the Baylor College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University. He completed his Certificate in Endodontics in 2009.

Dr. Berto’s research on Physical and Chemical Properties of New-Generation Endodontic Materials has been published in the Journal of Endodontics, which is distributed by the American Association of Endodontics. It was also presented at the Annual meeting of the American Association of Endodontics. He continues to lecture internationally and across the United States while working on various research topics in the field of endodontics, including dental traumatology and dental and pulp regeneration.

Dr. Berto strives to achieve Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics and has been board eligible since 2009. His professional affiliations include the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the Irving Dental Study Clubclub, where he served as Vice-President in 2012, the North Texas Hispanic Dental Association, where he served as President in 2013, the Spanish Dental Association, and the DFW Metroplex Endodontic Society, where he served as President in 2014. Dr. Berto’s extensive experience and rich background are a tremendous asset to the Dallas Endodontics team.
